Full Job Description

Supporting and befriending individuals to improve their well-being and independence Organising and facilitating engaging activities and outings Building strong relationships with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals Encouraging participation and ensuring a fun, inclusive environment Assisting with medication administration (training provided) Driving or assisting on a minibus for service users' transportation (if qualified)

  • Experience and passion for supporting people living with dementia
  • Good understanding of dementia care and individual needs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Satisfactory DBS check
  • Desired criteria
  • Knowledge of local/national dementia support organizations
  • Understanding of safeguarding and care regulations
  • NVQ/QCF qualification in health and social care (or willingness to obtain)
  • Minibus driving ability (preferred but not essential)
