HCRG Care Group is seeking an experienced Deputy Director for Transformation to join our leadership team. This role is responsible for leading the design and execution of multi year transformation plans in Community health and care services across BSW and the wider Integrated Care Board (ICB). You will be an ambassador for HCRG Care Group, building strong relationships with our commissioners and NHS stakeholders, leading service improvement and transformation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe care in a financially sustainable system. Due to exciting organisational growth, as a Deputy Director you will play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare provision and deliver the safe provision of our new and existing Bath & North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW) services. You will lead implement the long-term transformation strategy, partnering with the Director of Operations to ensure that plans translate into operational excellence. We are looking for someone with extensive NHS Leadership experience, community healthcare or social care with experience in integrating healthcare across multiple providers with strong governance compliance and expertise in risk management with a drive to transform health and care to join us in this exciting period.,
- Develop and execute a long-term strategy to integrate and sustain community health services.
- Lead service integration across NHS, local authorities, voluntary sector, and private providers.
- Drive the transition to community-based care, focusing on early intervention and prevention.
- Collaborate with the Deputy Director - Operations to ensure effective service delivery models.
- Oversee governance, compliance, and risk management, ensuring services meet CQC and regulatory standards while proactively mitigating operational risks.
- Build multi-provider alliances to deliver efficiencies, innovation, and improved patient outcomes.
- Work with Senior Leadership and the Partnership & Engagement team to ensure patient-centered transformation.
- Oversee the adoption of digital health solutions supporting service integration.
- Implement population health management strategies based on evidence and data.
- Ensure financial sustainability of transformation initiatives with strong governance and oversight.
- Develop business cases for investment in service innovation.
- Ensure transformation initiatives align with the organisations strategic vision and are operationally feasible.
The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in leading transformation within the NHS or an ICS setting, demonstrating the ability to integrate services across a range of providers and deliver impactful, system-wide change. You should be a collaborative leader with expertise in governance, compliance, and financial management, and a strong focus on improving patient outcomes through data-driven decision-making., Significant experience in leading long-term transformation initiatives within an NHS or ICS setting, with proven results in driving sustainable change. - A demonstrated track record of successfully integrating services across multiple providers, ensuring seamless care delivery and collaboration.
- Strong expertise in NHS governance, compliance, and financial management, with a thorough understanding of the frameworks and regulations that guide healthcare delivery.
- Ability to influence and lead system-wide change across ICSs, local government, and healthcare providers, aligning diverse stakeholders towards a common goal.
- Comprehensive knowledge of population health management and the application of data analytics to drive transformation and improve outcomes. Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working at the ICS or NHS England level, leading multi-year transformation plans with tangible results.
- Proven experience in digital transformation and healthcare service innovation, with the ability to harness new technologies to enhance service delivery.
- A formal qualification in healthcare management, governance, or strategic leadership, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development.
