We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Head of Healthcare to join our team at HMP Leicester a category B male Prison located in Leicestershire. You will be managing 5 clinical leads that cover Mental Health, Substance Misuse Pharmacy, Primary Care and Business Manager. Hours Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week, As a Deputy Head of Healthcare, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients by seeking out, listening to and acting on feedback so that patient engagement is at the centre of service delivery, Provide day to day operational service delivery and data which has integrity, in a timely manner to meet commissioner expectations
- Deliver non-judgemental, compassionate care within the financial framework that is safe, high quality and in line with CQC requirements
- Inspire trust and excellence in your people by pro-actively leading the service and motivating the team, recognising that our workforce is our most valuable asset
- Promote Best practice, clinical supervision, evidence based care and continuous quality improvement embedding a culture of shared learning
- Share knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure safe care, and lead multi-disciplinary teams of clinical and non-clinical colleagues who support each other to do a great job. NMC Registered - Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience of working in CQC or equivalent registered services such as HMIP
- Experience of client management or meeting commissioner expectations
