This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Older People Residential Services Team. We pay an attractive salary of £34,314 - £37,035 and offer access to training and development opportunities. Ty Iscoed Residential Home provides long term and short term accommodation for older people who are living with a dementia. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team who has the necessary skills, experience and commitment to support the Team Manager of the Home. You will assist the manager and provide leadership to the staff team to meet all statutory and regulatory requirements in line with codes of conduct and CCBC procedures. The postholder will also ensure people who live in the Home experience the highest standard of care in all areas including relationship centred care and dementia care. The Deputy Manager takes responsibility of the Home in the absence of the Team Manager. For the role, we ask that you have:

• Any qualifications listed by Social Care Wales for registration as an Adult Care Home Manager.
  
  Knowledge of Care Inspectorate Wales Regulation Inspection Social Care Act (RISCA).
• Experience of working in a care environment.
• Full UK Category B (Cars) driving license and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough.
