Full Job Description
ROC Solid is a registered supported accommodation charity, delivering services to young people 16 - 17 years of age across the North East. With a dedicated, passionate and skilled team, we offer an agreed person-centred level of support. This exciting role will support our young people improve their quality of life. Managing a team in supporting our young people in using our services and providing direct support to individuals or groups of individuals, this includes supporting life skills, health and wellbeing, access to education, training and employment. To ensure that tenancies/licences are adhered to and that the housing provided is of optimum quality.,
- As the HUB Manager you will ensure and exceed compliance requirements of the Ofsted Supported Accommodation Regulations and its Outcomes.
- Adhere to, uphold and exemplify the organisations core values
- To monitor the work of the Specialist Support Workers.
- Assist in ensuring that all staff are familiar, understand and adhere to all relevant statutory policy and procedural guidelines and Ofsted regulations for Supported Living Accommodation
- Liaise with all relevant agencies and attend meetings as required
- To ensure that a high-quality housing and support service is provided, and residents are effectively helped to develop the skills and confidence needed for independent living and improved quality of life.
A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (Children) or equivalent (or willingness to work towards), undertaking Level 4 if successful. A driving licence and access to a vehicle Previous experience of working with: Children, 16-18 years old; youth offending; care leavers; substance/alcohol misuse - Paid for DBS
