Full Job Description
We are looking for a Deputy Modality Lead for the Breast Imaging service, this is open to any HCPC registered radiographer. Unlike breast screening any gender specific requirements are not applied to this post.

We require a confident, organised individual with initiative and drive required to manage day to day breast imaging for Lincolnshire Breast Screening Service and Symptomatic Breast Services. The post holder will manage mammography staff alongside the Breast Imaging Lead and Advanced Practitioners. The post holder will be responsible for the overall daily management of service provision and departmental improvements.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for day to day HR management, recruitment and rostering.
Dealing with day to day problem solving and decision making for optimal service cover.
Ensuring staff, equipment and policies are compliant and adhere to National and local guidelines and governance.
Ensure service users receive the best possible care and any complaints are correctly investigated in line with Trust and NHSBSP procedure.
Pilgrim Hospital is situated beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence to significant teaching commitment. From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
