Full Job Description

Greyfriars PICU is a ten bedded Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit which provides care for those people who require a period of increased supervision and intensive input as a result of acute mental health problems., The role will have a specific focus on supporting the Unit Manager and developing/maintaining clinical standards for the service., To provide clinical leadership to other staff within the team and act as a focal point for problem solving. To act as deputy to the ward manager, with responsibility of managing the ward, deploying, supervising and teaching staff.

  • To participate with the development and provision of services, primarily of the clinical operational management and development of the nursing team.
