Full Job Description
- Support Design Managers in implementing the design processes ensuring efficient communication between teams
- Understand programme constraints and track design progress
- Assist Design Managers in collating relevant information for appropriate design development
- Liaise with external and/or in-house design teams
- Monitor delivery of design documentation against identified deliverables and respective milestones
- Keep records of design changes, assumptions, approvals, and correspondence with interfacing parties
- Review submissions as directed for quality and sufficiency.
- Design capability as pre-requisite for submission review and checking.
- Update design folders and registers ongoing.
- Attend design coordination meetings as required and record agreed outcomes/actions
- Produce minutes and schedules for Design Review Meetings and Risk Review Workshops
- Manage incoming/outgoing Requests for Information (RFIs) within area of responsibility
- Monitor design change and ensure correct implementation of Field Change requests
- Assist team members CEM / QS / PM[AD1] as required with engineering input.
- Work closely with site teams to ensure correct implementation of design
- Produce design briefs/design change requests
- Sketching / Drawing ability including CAD.
- Attend site as required to liaise with Site Managers / CRE / CNR and report to CEM.
- Assist CEM with engineering compliance issues on sites.
- Ensure correct drawings are maintained and issued to sites.
- Co-ordination / management abilities to deal with several small projects or large multi-disciplined projects.
- Support preparation of the Health and safety file
- Excellent interpersonal skills and assertive when required to ensure timeous design delivery.
- Ability to undertake small scale in-house temporary design.
Skills card - CSCS Card (relevant type)All roles are expected to have the relevant competency skills cards where site-based work is required - 3-5 years' experience.
- Computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other design-based software such as AutoCAD and TEDDS.
- Working knowledge of Regulations.
- Construction/Design Experience - 2 years (degree), 5 years (HND/HNC). Wir bieten
