Full Job Description

In this role you will be working in partnership with teachers to support learning in line with the national curriculum, codes of practice, policies and procedures. The role will include preparing materials and equipment for practical lessons, carrying out weekly material and equipment checks in all the technology rooms and creating a stimulating learning environment for teaching and learning. You will be expected to control and store safely all chemicals, flammables and specialised solutions, ensuring that current Health & Safety, COSHH and ESCC regulations are adhered to and be aware and responsive to any health and safety issues. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working within a school or with young people, they will have the confidence to build relationships with students and colleagues and will be able to relate well to both children and adults. The ideal person will have a qualification in the relevant subject or will be able to show a willingness to achieve this., We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
