Full Job Description

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this is a fantastic role for a natural leader! Your role will be to supervise the daily work of a designated team and ensure all necessary resources are in place to maintain a safe and effective operation whilst meeting and exceeding our customers expectations.

  • You will have experience of stock and warehouse management, logistics and operational efficiency.
  • Experience of working within the food manufacturing sector or FMCG is preferable.

    Your shift pattern will be Sunday to Tuesday alternating to Sunday to Wednesday every 2 weeks (12 hours shifts) 2 weeks is 3 day week, 1 week is 4 days a week Salary: £12,60 per hour Your Duties Will Include: Warehouse:
  • Supervise 10x warehouse operatives
  • Fork lift
  • Order picking
  • Stock control (Excel / Lawson)
  • Goods in and out
  • Continuous Improvement process.
  • H&S.
  • Transport/Logistics:
  • Supervise and support a team delivering own goods to sites throughout the UK and internationally.
  • Transport Planning/Vehicle utilisation
  • Ensuring and monitoring Legal compliance
  • Stand in for Shift Supervisor when on Holiday
  • Supervising a team day to day, prioritising workloads and solving problems effectively
  • Coordinating and processing outbound and inbound shipments using the relevant software and databases
  • Supervising booking in and storing received goods
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Picking and moving stock between warehouses - Riverside and Tottle
  • Capturing and analysing data and using this to drive improvements, 2 Employee Volunteering Days per year
