Role overview: Digital Analytics Development Manager London Currys London Campus at Waterloo (LHO002) Permanent Full Time Grade 4 The role manages the development and implementation digital data solutions that provide the quality foundations for digital colleagues (and wider business areas) to understand and interrogate digital performance. They ensure that business requirements are clearly understood by developers and that the technical solutions are understood by the business users. The solutions are develop and implement through others. The role works closely with Digital Analysts, Digital Product squads, marketing and CRM, and other Digital (and CSS and CDO) colleagues to drive the creation of data as a business asset for operational and analytical uses. Currys Digital Analytics Team collects, analyses, and interprets behavioural data on how online users interact with us, to inform trading decisions, marketing and personalisation campaigns, and product design that improve customer experiences and optimises online sales performance.   • Managing the portfolio of digital data and analytics products, ensuring products are fit for purpose and proactively manage any issues.
  • Managing the business stakeholders to agree digital data product develop priorities and aligned roadmap of deliverables.
  • Supporting the provision of regular business updates (Now, Next, Future) of the planned product releases.
  • Working closely with Digital Product Squads to ensure digital data and analytics requirements are understood, tested and implemented as required with each product release.
  • Working closely with CDO, Retail Media, CRM and CSS colleagues, identify data and technology solutions that enable greater sharing and integration of digital and non-digital data assets.
  • Overseeing the development of PowerBI / Azure / Fabric data solutions that facilitate business colleagues (citizen analysts) to be able to self-serve their reporting and insight needs.
  • Providing weekly and monthly reporting into data quality of our digital data, proactively remediating data quality issues.
  • Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience
  • Advanced technical, analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify how to solve and simplify complex problems, into practical solutions.
  • Understanding of digital analytics software, MarTech, Tag Managers.
  • Project Management experience involving agencies and indirect resources.
  • Line management experience of a team of data specialists.
  • Experience with Data Engineering, Modelling, PowerBI or other visualization tools.
  • The ability to understand stakeholder requirements and motivations and turn them into meaningful information and requirements.
  • Experience of eCommerce / Digital Analytics, preferably gained with an online retailer
