We're known as a leading healthcare group, but we're so much more than that. We have 43 million customers worldwide, with no shareholders, so we can reinvest profits into providing better healthcare for current and future customers. We're focussed on our purpose - helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world. So, if you're looking to kick start your career and would like to help us make health happen, we'd love to hear from you.

Our 12 month undergraduate industry placement working in our Digital Delivery team will enable you to gain in-depth insights and valuable experience to support you in your future career. During your 12 month placement, no two days will be the same.

This exciting opportunity in our Digital Delivery team, will enable you to work in a technology driven HR function. This strategic team is focused on creating a simple, integrated, and digital experience for our people.

In this role you will provide internal administration and support services, across Bupa's self-service technology, supporting a broad range of HR and learning topics throughout the Employee Lifecycle. You will also work on providing real time data and insight about our people. You'll face a well-balanced mix of challenges, support and accelerated skills development through our development programme. You'll have the opportunity to shadow senior colleagues exposing you to different perspectives, understanding more about our organisation and expanding your network.

Whilst on placement you'll have opportunities to participate in activities with our other placement and graduate students which will enable you to share perspectives and experiences. Full training will be provided whilst on placement.

What we're looking for

As a global health and care company, everything we do is driven by our purpose. If you share our ambition and you're equally passionate about people and putting customers first, then Bupa is the perfect place to start your career. We're passionate about doing the right thing for our customers, people, communities, and planet. Our values - Brave, Caring, and Responsible - are simple but run deep. They help guide how we work and what we look for in our people.

As you will be working across a broad spectrum of stakeholders, your ability and confidence in building relationships, collaborating, and managing your workload will be key to your success in this role.

Qualifications and Training

  • Must have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the placement.
  • Current undergraduate student in your penultimate year of your degree.

Skills and Knowledge

  • An understanding of what makes a good 'user experience' when using systems and websites.
  • Experience in digital design, with experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Enjoys building strong working relationships and working in a team to deliver an outcome.
  • Passion for providing a great service to internal customers and understanding of what customers need.
  • Effective self-organisation and ability to plan ahead, to complete tasks to deadlines.
  • Positive, can-do attitude, with a pro-active approach to learning and interest in your own development.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills and attention to detail.
