Full Job Description

The Digital team leads our brand's online presence through digital content and design, customer relations, e-commerce, partnership and performance. Reporting to our Digital Editorial Manager, this role will work as part of a digital content team of four. The Digital Editor is the voice of the brand and integral to the stories we tell across digital channels. Responsible for crafting and communicating distinct Tone of Voice guidelines, they will have a strong talent for copy, an understanding of brand language, a great editorial style and a fantastic knowledge of trends. They will ensure that our copy is exciting, fashion-focused, optimised for search at all times and is uniquely AllSaints. Supporting the Digital Editorial Manager with the day-to-day planning and execution of the content strategy, the Digital Editor will assist with the curation of content across all channels, including website, editorial, email and performance marketing. An integral part of the Digital Content team, the Digital Editor will serve as a natural mentor to the digital copywriters on the team, providing assistance and support on copy as and when required.WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Act as Tone of Voice guardian across all digital channels. Working with the Digital Editorial
  • Manager to craft and communicate the AllSaints Tone of Voice guidelines and style guide
  • Work closely with the digital design team to provide copy for creative briefs, including site copy, editorial features, performance marketing and ad hoc design requests.
  • Be a visible point of contact for all copy and TOV requests, maintaining a strong working relationship with the wider team
  • Mentor and guide the Digital Copywriter and Junior Copywriter, offering advice and support on copy as and when required
  • Liaise with product and marketing teams across the business to ensure all copy is factually correct
  • Work closely with the SEO Manager on keyword optimisation, ensuring that all copy and ontent is search optimised
  • Support Performance Marketing with copy for paid marketing channels
  • CONTENT PLANNING
  • Support the Digital Editorial Manager with the execution of BAU content across digital channels, including website, email, editorial and performance marketing
  • Brief editorial content features in accordance with the Digital Calendar, ensuring all briefs are completed and passed on time to the digital design team with the correct detail
  • Support the Digital Editorial Manager in liaising with wider teams across the business to ensure content is ready for sign-off with the Senior Management team
  • Support the Digital Editorial Manager with content reporting
  • Deputise for the Digital Editorial Manager as and when required

    Bachelor's Degree in English/Journalism or equivalent
  • Solid experience as a Copywriter and/or Editor, ideally in the fashion industry
  • An ability to craft unique long and short form copy and well versed in the world of fashion storytelling and the latest digital content trends
  • An understanding of brand tone of voice
  • A team player who is confident and creative
  • Is computer literate and able to use CMS systems and Microsoft suite
  • Proactive and able to think creatively when problem solving
  • Communicates with others clearly, effectively, professional and with respeces
  • Strives to achieve and drive the best results possible for the brand
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, able to prioritise work accordingly and work flexibly to hit deadlines
  • Demonstrates the brand values and promotes them within the business
  • Excellent team player who is collaborative in their approach and support team objectives
  • Reliable and acts in a timely manner
  • Experience in Photoshop, HTML and website content management preferable
  • An understanding of SEO best practice
  • Creative eye and attention to detail
  • Motivated self-starter who can work autonomously
