Full Job Description

The Product division sits with Technology and is responsible for delivering a product vision and strategy for Macmillan, encompassing a future digital, data and technology estate that improves user experience and aligns to broader strategic outcomes., Senior Digital Performance Analysts work closely with product teams and colleagues in fundraising and marketing to manage tracking and measurement across Macmillan's digital products, services, campaigns and content. They are responsible for developing and delivering an aligned approach to tracking and reporting on performance of digital activity across our digital estate, including web, social media and email, to enable both the generation of strategic management information and the evidence to support quick-turnaround experimentation and testing across to optimise for user experience and income generation., Please see the attached role profile which outlines the full list of tasks and responsibilities for this role.

  • Significant experience managing and administrating Google Analytics (or a similar analytics tool) and Google Tag Manager in a complex organisation where privacy is an important consideration.
  • Experience in the set-up, deployment and measurement of digital advertising and marketing campaigns (SEO, PPC, display, email and social) including KPI definition, tracking implementation, optimisation and campaign evaluation.
  • Experience of supporting the use of analytical data at pace to support organisational goals, for example conversion rate optimisation through A/B testing and funnel tracking.
  • Good problem-solving and data analysis skills, with examples of where you have used these to identify and resolve tracking or tagging issues.
