Full Job Description

This role is to be a Diocesan Registry Clerk and support for the Third Sector Property team in this area who specialise in this type of work. The mix of the role will be roughly 75/25 and will be able to offer a great range and variety of work:
- As a Registry Clerk, you will work closely with the Registrar to operate the diocesan registry for a diocese of the Church of England
- As an administrative support, to work with the property team who specialise in this practice in the property department

This role would be a great fit for individuals with a secretarial background, particularly those with experience in a legal secretarial or administrative support capacity. However, we are open to candidates from diverse professional backgrounds, and prior experience in the legal field is not a strict requirement.
We value strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across different teams. Whether you're coming from a legal secretarial background or another administrative role, if you have a passion for efficiently supporting teams and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.
You will need to be:
- Someone who thrives on a varied working day managing lots of tasks at the same time
- You will need to enjoy working for a wide range of people internally and externally
- You will be able to work on systems and producing documentation and look forward to working in teams who have a strong vocational interest in what they do
We will train you on the structures and workings of the Church of England and any prior experience would be an advantage.
