Take a closer look at the role, We're looking for a proactive and experienced Direct Procurement Manager to lead our procurement team, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strong supplier relationships. This role is key to maintaining a smooth supply chain, working closely with Project Delivery to ensure on-time delivery (OTD) of critical components.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Leading and developing a team of procurement professionals, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.
2. Creating and driving strategic procurement plans to improve efficiency and cost savings.
3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, identifying opportunities for innovation and better value.
4. Balancing cost, quality, and delivery targets to keep operations running smoothly.
5. Monitoring supplier performance through clear KPIs, ensuring they meet expectations.
6. Overseeing the procurement of raw materials, proprietary, and manufactured components.
7. Coordinating internally manufactured parts with external supply needs.
8. Working closely with internal teams and Project Delivery to align procurement with production schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
9. Bringing strong knowledge of ERP systems, particularly IFS, with the ability to leverage them for procurement efficiency and business advantage.
10. Actively contributing to meetings with insights and strategic direction.

+ Solid experience in direct procurement within motorsport or high-level manufacturing.
+ Strong knowledge of composite, metallic, and proprietary materials.
+ An understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and supplier requirements.
+ Proven leadership experience in a procurement role, ideally within Formula 1 or high-performance motorsport.
+ Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
+ Strong negotiation skills to secure the best terms while maintaining supplier relationships.
+ Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a proactive and solutions-driven approach.
+ Experience working alongside Project Delivery teams to align procurement with operational needs.
+ Willingness to travel when required.
