Full Job Description

Disease Modifying Therapies (DMT) Co- Ordinator

Working Days: Monday - Friday (6 hours per day - 30 hour per week)

The post holder will be required to provide administrative support to the North Midlands Regional Multiple Sclerosis Team to support medical and nursing staff within the specialty. This will involve waiting list management for this specialty, in accordance with the Patient Access Policy, communicating appointment and admission related information to patients and carers and typing correspondence as appropriate. The post holder will also cover the administrative and clerical workload of other members of the Neurosciences team as required. Modifying Therapies (DMT )Co-ordinator, The post holder will assist medical and nursing colleagues in the organisation of the specialty team workload, communicating appointment and admission related information to patients/carers, ensuring compliance with the Patient Access Policy and Divisional requirements in terms of inpatient waiting list management and typing correspondence and/or transcribing and typing up of minutes as appropriate. The post holder will cover the workload of other members of the Neurology administration team as required.
