Full Job Description

We are recruiting for a Domain Validation Lead - Body & HVAC to join our Vehicle Development department in Woking. As the Domain Validation Lead - Body & HVAC, you will be responsible for the Body & HVAC systems validation. You will own this domain and will be a reference in testing of associated systems. Your duties will include defining, implementing, and executing the test plan and scope on a variety of systems and platforms across programs, performing static and dynamic tests on rigs, lab cars, and vehicles. Depending on project requirements, you will be provided with the support of a cross-functional domain team, which you will guide by contributing your expertise. What You'll Do

  • Developing and executing test cases in accordance with the requirements and technical contents of the systems under test, including test automation.
  • Working closely with the Vehicle Project Validation Lead to ensure that testing is executed according to the plan.
  • Aligning with software developers and architects to support in-house software development using Agile methodologies.
  • Executing tests using available testing tools, such as rigs, lab cars, and vehicles.
  • Analysing test results, understanding system requirements, and using an analytical approach to identify potential issues, creating accurate and detailed descriptions of the issues reported in specific software.
  • Reporting any issues or defects to the Vehicle Program Validation Lead.
  • Producing accurate documentation and test reports, managing hardware and software configurations with appropriate version control.
  • Continuously improving the testing process by identifying areas for improvement in testing methods and adjusting testing methods as necessary.

    Excellent knowledge of Automotive protocols CAN, LIN 2.X and 100Base-TX Ethernet.
  • Excellent knowledge of diagnostic protocol UDS ISO-14229, and XCP measurement and calibration protocol.
  • Significant working experience with software testing automation toolchain in HIL environment (vTestStudio, AutomationDesk, Tracetronic).
  • Previous exposure to programming languages (C, C#, Python, CAPL).
  • Good electric and electronic skills to support rapid prototyping and proof of concepts.
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies.
  • Familiar with AUTOSAR and model-based software development.
  • Electrical, Software or Electronic engineering degree.
