We have an exciting opportunity for a Domestic Assistant to join our dedicated team in our residential care home in Pontardawe. This is a part time, 24 hour per week position, with (4 x 6hrs shifts & must be able to work weekends as per rota) If you would like the opportunity to work with some truly amazing people please read on….., As a Domestic or Laundry Assistant you will be responsible for ensuring that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained throughout the Care Home, following best practices and guidelines within Health & Safety, Infection Control and COSHH regulations are adhered to.

• Ensuring that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained throughout the Care Home.
• Following best practices and guidelines within Health & Safety, Infection Control and COSHH regulations.
• Ensure that the cleaning schedules are maintained according to company policies and procedures.
  
  A background of working within a care environment, or cleaning or laundry is desirable but not essential as full training and support from senior staff and management is provided. More important are;
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Able to work on own initiative
• Demonstrates enthusiasm, commitment, and focus
