Full Job Description
St Anne's are looking for a new Domestic Assistant at our service in Heatherstones.
You will ensures that the nursing home, office and other main areas are kept hygienic and clean and play a vital role in preventing the spread of infection.
The successful post holder will ensure that the their responsibility is crucial in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You may work alone or as part of a cleaning team and will often be required to work in shifts to ensure that all areas of the facility are kept clean and tidy at all times., + Cleaning and sanitising common areas.
+ Cleaning hard floors with mops or electric floor cleaners.
+ Using spray cleaners.
+ Ensuing that hazardous materials are stored safely and securely.
+ Monitoring and refilling cleaning supplies as needed.
+ Attending training sessions and meetings as needed.
+ Using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
+ Following established infection control procedures.
+ Reporting any maintenance or repair issues.
+ Following all safety protocols.
+ Cleaning and sanitising patient rooms., Heatherstones Nursing Home is an 8 bedded unit for people with learning disabilities who have complex and physical health needs. This is a lovely home to work for and have excellent staff team.
