TEACHER OF DRAMA (PART TIME) Salary - MPS1 (£31,650) to UPS3 (£49,084) R&R available for the right candidate Commencing - September 2025 Are you ready to bring the magic of theatre to the lives of our students? Do you have a passion for fostering confidence and self-expression through drama? The Role Watling Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and devoted Drama Teacher to join our team and inspire students through the magic of theatre. As a Drama Teacher at Watling Academy, you will:
- Inspire creativity by immersing students in a diverse range of theatrical experiences, from the trenches of War Horse to the gritty streets of Blood Brothers and the timeless works of Shakespeare.
- Foster confidence by creating a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel empowered to take creative risks and express themselves freely.
- Develop performance skills by teaching techniques such as voice control, body language, movement and audience engagement to enhance students' stage presence.
- Introduce technical theatre by integrating staging, lighting and sound design into lessons, giving students a well-rounded understanding of theatre production.
- Be a key part of our supportive team, collaborating with colleagues to deliver an engaging and enriching curriculum that meets the needs of every student.
