Full Job Description

Partner with the best Use design software experience to review, improve and implement innovative concepts and ideas to meet client requirements. As a Draughtsman / CAD Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Using drafting tools and platforms (i.e AutoCAD, Solidworks and computer programs) for early phase product development
- Working and communicating efficiently between project and engineering divisions, liaising with Structural, Engineering and Technology departments to collect relevant technical information
- Interpreting client requirements and developing in line with project and engineering teams for solutions and recommending ideas
- Producing technical drawings using 2D and 3D software
- Creating and maintaining all technical engineering drawings relating to the manufacture of flexible pipe and ancillary components
- Maintaining CAD templates and standard 2D and 3D modelling libraries
- Producing illustrative material for Engineering, Commercial and Marketing purposes
- Checking, reviewing and approval of Engineering drawings (Subject to competency status)
Have a Level 3 BTEC in an Engineering discipline - Have proven work experience in the use of both AutoCAD and an associated 3D modelling software (i.e. Solidworks)
- Have proven experience with reading and creating engineering drawings
- Have knowledge in manufacturing or engineering fields (or Machining or Fabrication)
- Have an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Work in a way that works for you
