Driver Class 1

Pay Rate: £31,493.28 Grade: CA Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday to Friday 0600 Location: Hengoed , CF82 7QZ DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Class 1 driver to play a vital role in our distribution service. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Monday to Friday 0600 in general with minimum of two nights out (night out pay and shift premiums).
• To deliver bespoke office furniture on behalf of our customer across the UK and Ireland .
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card .
• Be OK for nights out and starting on a Sunday evening when required.
• Be flexible for the clients need.
• Have a least a year of actual HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Experience of ferry crossings would be preferable .
