Full Job Description
Some flexible working hours during the school day to provide occasional support for school trips, etc. may be required. Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in your community? Lindsworth School is seeking a friendly and reliable School minibus driver to safely transport our students to and from school each day. This is a supported role - each journey includes a dedicated guide on board to assist with students, allowing you to focus on the road. If you enjoy driving, love working with children and want to be part of a caring team, we'd love to hear from you! Lindsworth's catchment area covers the whole of Birmingham and we seek highly reliable individuals to join our team of drivers for our small fleet of minibuses providing transport for our pupils to and from school Monday to Friday during term time. Applicants must have experience of driving larger vehicles, such as vans or minibuses, have knowledge of basic vehicle safety and hold a current valid category D1 driving licence with no more than six penalty points. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake minibus driver awareness training (MiDAS) which the school will provide.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for the role.
