Pay Rate: £32,694.74 Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7, Start time: 6am 10 hour Days Location: Hatfield - AL10 9BD THIS JOB WILL REQUIRE A BASIC CRC DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Driver's Mate to play a vital role in our distribution service. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• work alongside our warehouse team, coordinating the picking and loading of alcohol / white goods / furniture onto your assigned vehicle prior to delivery
• accompany a driver to delivery points where you will assist with unloading deliveries to licensed premises / to customers' homes
• maintain regular contact with the Transport team and advise of all problems which may prevent the job being completed on time and without incident
• complete relevant processes on an electronic handheld device

• High levels of manual handling are required so you need to be physically fit
• Previous experience of the preparation, distribution and handling of volume orders
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload
• Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions
• Previous practical experience as a Driver's Mate, within a logistics or similar environment would be preferable
• Good Telephone manner
