Full Job Description

  • Various duties to ensure a continuous high standard of care to meet current Ofsted regulations
  • To contribute ideas towards learning and development of the children
  • Assist with observing, documenting and evaluation of activities
  • Use the EYFS learning objectives and characteristics of learning to monitor children's progress
  • To use own initiative to enhance children's learning, support new starters, challenge existing knowledge and plan for learning enhancements linked to EYFS
  • To contribute own ideas for enhancing role play areas, the secret garden and indoor provision
  • Be a positive role model and show respect for all children and their families regardless of background, race, religion, gender, or stage of development
  • Other duties including: preparing snacks, drinks, assisting children at lunchtime, changing nappies, settling children to sleep, assisting with toileting/potty training, supporting challenging behaviour.

  • GCSE Maths and English at grades 4 or above or equivalent

    £192 and 30hrs per week - Mon-Fri (can work up to 35). Shifts organised between 7:30am and 6pm - to be discussed at interview.
