Full Job Description

As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll be more than just a caregiver; you'll be a guide, a storyteller, a cheerleader, and sometimes a comforting shoulder. You'll help children aged 0-5 years explore the world, develop essential life skills, and flourish in a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. What We're Looking For Someone who is passionate about Early Years, with: The energy of a whirlwind - Someone who can keep up with curious, energetic little ones, ensuring every day is full of excitement and discovery. The care of a gardener - Patient and attentive, you'll nurture each child's individual potential, giving them the confidence and support to grow and flourish. The gentleness of a nurturer - Offering warmth, compassion, and reassurance, you'll create a safe and loving environment where young minds feel valued and secure.

  • Experience: Hands-on experience working with children under 5 in a professional setting.
  • Qualifications: A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2/3 or equivalent) and a commitment to continued professional development.
  • Knowledge: A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and how it supports child development.
  • Passion: A genuine love for early years education and a desire to make a real difference in children's lives.
  • Commitment: Dedication to the principles of inclusion, safeguarding, and equality of opportunity for all.
  • Communication Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Diligence: Attention to detail to ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and learning documentation are consistently maintained.
