Full Job Description

  • Define and develop eCommerce category strategy working with commercial, performance marketing, consumer planning and wider category function.
  • Category lead for pureplay customers (Amazon & Ocado) and Quick Commerce customers.
  • Omnichannel category champion within off-trade supporting eGrocery across the top grocery customers.
  • Deliver actionable insights from market, consumer & shopper trends to become and maintain status as customer's choice supplier partner to drive category growth.
  • Own the overall digital shelf strategy to sustainably win through execution and drive accountability with the MFSTs.
  • Develop and present data to senior leaders throughout the organisation.
  • Create eCommerce category reporting using multiple data sources available including Nielsen, Stackline, Dunnhumby, Quantium, Sainsbury's Insight Platform, Data Impact, Fox Intelligence, Kantar etc.
  • Own monthly reporting to support internal commercial reporting cycles using internal commercial tools such as NEO.
  • Collaborate with global & regional digital commerce CoE to accelerate GB opportunities, learn from and inspire other markets.

    Strong category management skills or experience working within data agencies (6+ years)
  • Background in eCommerce is essential
  • Experience working with Amazon & eGrocery preferable
  • Experience in retail media preferable
  • Excellent communication and presentation/story telling skills
  • Ability to create actionable insight from data
  • Excellent commercial and numerical skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills
