Editor

This role works alongside the Front of house team and the editors, the EMEA creative team, Central Creative, Factual Production, Storyworks, DCE, Brand, Comms, Marketing, LatAm, Presentation Planning, BBC Learning, Branded Services team in Global Operations, Media Technology and the MAC team. As a Broadcast Editor you will need to ensure work produced is under 5% re do rate, and support our returning clients KPI by working in a collaborative and effective way with all stakeholders, it will also be required to work with the Edit Village team on any improvement projects to create more streamlined and efficient workflows to allow more time to take on work for the Edit Village Team. Main responsibilities:

• Outputting edits accurately to the briefs provided, and working closely with the post producers.
• You will also be repurposing English videos and artwork for Studios' key brands, reframing for different social outputs and foreign language markets.
  
  Experience as a client attended Editor.
• You will demonstrate experience and awareness of post-production equipment, procedures, and broadcast technical specifications.
• In depth knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop to both broadcast and social standard, and possess a strong technical mind
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After-Effects to a playout standard, and possess a strong technical mind.
• You will be highly organised, possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• You will be comfortable building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders, internal clients and with technical and non-technical members of a wider Creative team.
• You will also need a stable internet connection at home, with a minimum of 20Mbs download and 10mbs upload speeds.
