What you'll be doingIn this role, you will collaborate closely with Commissioning Engineers to ensure tests are executed successfully and support Test Team Leaders in delivering
commissioning tests according to the plan. You will engage in testing activities, working alongside other disciplines as required, as part of multidisciplinary teams.Reporting to the Senior Technician, you will ensure that all tasks are performed in strict adherence to site license requirements, statutory regulations, company and local directives, procedures, and safety standards. Who you areYou'll be a time-served trade apprentice with qualifications at NVQ Level 3, ONC, or equivalent experience in an Electrical Engineering discipline. With a background as an Electrical Technician in industrial environments such as FMCG, Marine, Utilities, or Power Generation/Distribution. Your knowledge will cover electrical distribution and control systems, including LV and/or HV switchgear, inverters, and UPS systems.Safety will be at the forefront of your approach, with a strong commitment to Zero Harm and adherence to best practices in a high-risk environment. You'll
be highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage your workload effectively while maintaining a proactive and solution-focused mindset.Strong communication skills will enable you to collaborate seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams and engage effectively with key stakeholders.
