Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) is a quadruple-accredited, world-ranked management school, ranked 10th in the 2025 Complete University Guide. At the heart of the student experience is our innovative LUMS Careers team, which makes a significant impact on the career development and employability of our students. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this team as Employability and Events Coordinator

The overall function of this position it to take the lead on the planning, organisation, delivery and review of a growing portfolio of extra-curricular and in-curriculum events, and employability initiatives, designed to enhance the graduate prospects of both domestic and international students. This includes careers fairs, networking evenings, presentations, employer spotlight sessions, skills workshops, student visits to external events, careers workshops, employer interviews and panel activity.

You will support the development of mutually beneficial relationships with employers and alumni, work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders, and ensure that all LUMS Careers events and employability initiatives align with student aspirations. You will have supervisory responsibility for a project assistant.

The ability to work collaboratively online and in person, and to support students on campus and remotely is critical to the success of this role. With excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, you will be a crucial part of our award-winning team.
