Employability Specialist- Carlisle & Penrith

We are pleased to be able to offer some new opportunities on the Work and Health Programme and are looking for an Employability Specialist Advisor to join the team. This role requires an engaging, empathetic and motivating individual, able to support people with complex barriers to move into sustainable employment. You will be focused on ensuring every participant's journey into sustainable employment is as smooth and well-coordinated as possible. You will ensure individuals access the right support and encouragement to overcome barriers to enter work and support them to sustain in their role.
This role also involves engaging with external stakeholders to drive referrals to the programme You will work closely with your Local Authority, JobCentre Plus (JCP) and voluntary/ 3rd sector services.
Once on programme you will be providing 1:1 support to individuals via outreach support and in the Ingeus Offices.
