Full Job Description
As our Employee Relations Advisor, you will work closely with the HR Manager, the wider HR team and other service managers to ensure a high-quality HR service is delivered to the business. Your main responsibility will be to lead on all ER cases within the organisation, giving comprehensive advice and support to employees and managers in line with employment law, best practice and The Big Life group's values. You will use your expertise to coach, lead, and advise staff and managers.
- Knowledge of employment law, and significant proven experience of handling complex ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance and capability
- The ability to build strong relationships, work collaboratively with colleagues, and influence managers to follow best practice
- Skilled delivery of ER training to managers, and ensuring policy and process is up to date
- A real commitment to personal development and a willingness to regularly update skills and experience
- A minimum of Level 5 CIPD qualification or equivalent qualification
- Experience of working in a unionised environment.
