Full Job Description

You will need to be a good communicator with good inter-personal skills focussed on
achieving positive outcomes. You will be expected to travel to other offices to carry out duties
as required.

Adopt a customer focused approach when delivering their service, ensuring engagement with
service users and maintenance of an appropriate personal profile.

Act as an advocate for their service and work collaboratively with colleagues across the whole
Council to meet the needs of the people of Shropshire,

Meet individual, service and personal development targets agreed through the Personal
Development Review Process, learn from experience and are committed to continuous
improvement individually and as an employee of the Council,

Work with colleagues to meet the team's key performance indicators, support a culture of
team working and ensure the team functions successfully in support of the Council's corporate
and service objectives.

Meet the behaviours and competencies adopted by the Council in the way in which they
achieve their objectives and carry out their work.

Shropshire Council's Enable supported employment service has a vacancy for an
Employment Coach. The post holder will support participants to improve their digital skills via
one to one and group sessions. The post holder will be working with a range of participants
who may have complex and challenging barriers. The post holder must be able to work under
pressure, meet targets and deadlines whilst maintaining the highest standard of quality and
customer service., You must possess a good level of education. Ideally, you will have experience of quality and
compliance within a welfare to work arena, but training will be provided.
