Are you ready to take on a key role in managing and maintaining vital structures across the city? Stoke-on-Trent City Council is looking for a Highways Structures Engineer to join our dynamic team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the safety, resilience, and efficiency of our bridges, retaining walls, embankments, and abnormal load routes.

What You'll Do Manage & maintain Stoke-on-Trent's wide-ranging highway structures, ensuring they remain safe and compliant.

Support abnormal load route management, playing a crucial role in keeping the city moving. Work on exciting infrastructure projects that shape the future of Stoke-on-Trent.

Experience in bridge or structural engineering, ideally within highways or transport.

Strong technical knowledge of structural design, maintenance, and assessment.

A problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to infrastructure challenges.

The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
