Full Job Description
This role is responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, investigation, examination and conditioning of Mechanical equipment and associated sub-assemblies held at KNGD Donnington.,
- Be an Ambassador for Safety at all times.
- Ensure all Accidents are reported to the TL, Line Manager as required.
- Establish and understanding of Risk Assessments and Risk Controls including understanding how to identify risks.
- Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplace
- Actively participate and input into WIs/SOPs and process confirmations, assisting with the identification of necessary amendments, updates and rewrites as required.
- Responsible for ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with approved data
- Building positive customer relationships and responding constructively to customer requests and internal departments
- Responsible for the day-to-day processing of TS work orders.
- Ensure you work within current approved data, policies, processes, procedures and management guidance.
- Work with others to ensure required outcomes are achieved
Level 3 Mechanical Engineering Qualification/Apprenticeship or equivalent. - Experience of working on MOD items/equipment. (Preferred)
- Heavy Weapons experience, 105 Light Gun, AS90 (Preferred)
- IMS experience
- Ability to influence, negotiate and deal with conflict successfully.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety at work
- Experience of working to agreed targets.
- Intermediate PC Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook
