Full Job Description

Role Overview:We are seeking a contractor to lead the migration of our equity management platform and processes to a fully serviced provider. This role involves understanding future requirements, selecting the appropriate provider, managing the transition, and ensuring the successful upload of annual equity grants. Additionally, the contractor will assess and outline the equity management tasks that should remain in-house to deliver the best service and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current and future equity management platform needs.
Document requirements for selecting a fully serviced equity management provider.

2. Provider Identification and Selection:

Research potential providers and evaluate their offerings against the companys needs.
Facilitate RFP (Request for Proposal) processes, including provider assessment and selection.

3. Project Management:

Develop a detailed project plan for the migration, including timelines, milestones, cost, brokerage requirements, risk management and internal communication plan to ensure alignment across all skateholders.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and the selected provider to ensure a seamless transition.
Regularly report progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to the leadership team.

4. Data Migration and Annual Grant Upload:

Oversee the migration of equity data to the new provider, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Successfully upload and reconcile the annual equity grants in collaboration with HR, CoSec and finance teams.

5. In-House Requirements Assessment:

Identify and outline the equity management tasks that should remain in-house to optimize service delivery and employee experience.
Provide recommendations for maintaining an effective balance between outsourced and internal equity management responsibilities.

6. Stakeholder Management:

Act as the primary liaison between internal teams (HR, Finance, CoSec) and the external provider.
Ensure alignment with the companys values: be customer focused, operate as one, know the impact, and unleash ingenuity., Timely Completion of Migration: Successful migration to the new provider within the agreed timeline.
Data Accuracy: Ensuring 100% accuracy in data migration and annual grant uploads.
Stakeholder Satisfaction: Positive feedback from internal stakeholders on the transition process and ongoing equity management.
Clear In-House Responsibilities: Delivery of a comprehensive outline of in-house tasks and their alignment with the best service and employee experience.
Project Milestones: Achievement of key project milestones as outlined in the project plan, with minimal disruptions.

Proven experience in equity management or related fields.
Strong project management skills, preferably with experience in system migrations.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Familiarity with equity compensation structures and best practices.
Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
