Full Job Description

About Us: We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Facilities Assistant to join our team in London. Reporting to the Facilities Team Lead, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our office. If you have practical maintenance experience and enjoy keeping things in order, we'd love to hear from you!,

  • Carry out basic office maintenance and repairs.
  • Prepare the office for the day (e.g., empty dishwashers, manage HVAC).
  • Clean communal areas, including kitchens, toilets, fridges, and microwaves.
  • Perform daily health and safety and maintenance checks.
  • Respond to office issues through our internal ticketing system.
  • Liaise with contractors for office maintenance.
  • Set up meeting rooms and events with necessary equipment.
  • Handle daily post and courier deliveries.
  • Ensure office equipment is maintained and operating smoothly.
  • Monitor stock levels for stationery, printing supplies, and pantry/toilets, and report for reordering.
  • Occasionally hold office keys for out-of-hours responsibilities.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks as needed.

    Practical maintenance experience (hands-on, not just coordination).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot issues early.
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety (certification is a bonus).
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A friendly, positive attitude and professional appearance.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and work independently.
  • Reliable and self-motivated.
