Full Job Description
We're looking for a Facilities Officer to join our dedicated team at Nottingham City Council! In this permanent, full-time role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving the functionality, safety, and efficiency of a variety of Council buildings across Nottingham. ️, Hands-On Maintenance - Take on a variety of tasks from plumbing, joinery, and tiling, to painting, carpeting, and more. ️
Space Planning & Office Moves - Help design and organise office layouts, move furniture, set up IT, and create the best working environments for your colleagues.
Health & Safety Guardian - Ensure buildings meet regulatory standards with fire equipment checks, security systems, and routine maintenance tasks. ️
Proactive Problem-Solving - Be the "go-to" person for building-related issues, from heating breakdowns to equipment malfunctions.
Teamwork & Communication - Collaborate with colleagues and contractors to ensure the smooth running of services and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
