Full Job Description

You will assist the unit in providing a comprehensive range of 3D services across all the modalities of 3D investigations as directed by Clinicians in a range of specialities.

You will be expected to contribute to and participate in clinical development, audit and research projects concerned with the vision of children under the guidance of the Consultant Lead for 3D Services. They will also be required to fulfil designated unit, and departmental, administrative responsibilities and requirements for continuing professional development.

Perform clinical imaging of babies and children in the Plastic Surgery Department of GOSH using the 3D surface head scanner

Maintain surface data adhering to best practice in Data governance.

Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of the clinical labs and ensuring they are stocked and ready for day of clinical activity

We are looking for a dedicated and hard-working person to join our team, providing support and assistance with the delivery of the day-to-day 3D service at Great Ormond Street Hospital. This post is a 3 year fixed term, part time opportunity, covering the current post holder whilst they undertake a period of educational leave.

You will have a degree in a relevant field and an excellent knowledge of design software, specifically Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.

You should show excellent communication skills, with experience of working with children/families or in a hospital setting being desirable. Applicants should be able to demonstrate, high level computer and keyboard skills, ability to work well in a team and autonomously, and proficiency with computer databases, including all Microsoft packages.
