Full Job Description
- Provide legal advice and representation in family law matters, including divorce proceedings, child custody disputes, and financial settlements.
- Prepare legal documents such as petitions, affidavits, and agreements.
- Conduct negotiations on behalf of clients to reach amicable resolutions.
- Represent clients in court hearings and mediations as required and be confident in advocacy
- Maintain accurate records and manage case files efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed about their cases and provide updates on legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and financial advisors, to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Stay updated on changes in family law legislation and best practices.
Elite Touch are excited to be working with their well established client who is seeking a newly qualified Family Solicitor to join their expanding legal team. The ideal candidate will have a background in family law, providing advice on matters such as divorce and financial remedy cases with opportunity to expand this role into private children law. This role requires excellent communication skills, a high level of IT proficiency and exceptional organisational abilities to manage a diverse caseload effectively., Qualified solicitor with a practising certificate and experience in family law. - Newly qualified or more experienced solicitor
- Experience in handling family law cases is essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly to clients.
- Proficient in IT systems relevant to legal practice management and documentation
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- A compassionate approach towards clients facing challenging personal circumstances
