We are looking to recruit a Family Support Worker for our Pre-Birth Team. The Family Support Worker will work directly with children, young people, and their parents/carers. Multi-agency working will be a key part of the Family Support Workers daily tasks, this will include regular liaison with the Social Worker and Team Manager responsible for the child/young person.

In Redcar and Cleveland, we are committed to improve pre-birth practice and outcomes for our children and their families. With our dedicated pre-birth team, we have a service that follows nationally recognised best practice guidelines around intensive earlier intervention and will support us over the coming years in implementing social care reforms which advocate for keeping children safely at home through the use of early, targeted intervention.
