Family Worker - Substance Misuse (Ref: 0028ZA)

We are recruiting for a compassionate and approachable Family Worker to join our excellent team in our Lancashire Young Persons service, and to provide information and advice to families in relation to substance misuse and its impact on the family., As a Family Worker, you will offer interventions to support parents with substance misuse issues, whilst working to raise awareness of and improve access to appropriate services, with a focus on using Motivational Interviewing techniques. You will provide ongoing support through 1:1 or group sessions. It will be vital for you to develop strong and positive relationships with clients and their families, whilst managing an active caseload and ensuring continuity of care.
