The newly created FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) Schedule Manager will require a detail oriented and strategic individual in the role. It is important for leading and optimising the programming schedule for our FAST channels, ensuring a seamless and engaging viewing experience for our audience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TV scheduling, digital content distribution, and an understanding of the FAST ecosystem. What will you be doing?

  • Programming and Scheduling - Develop and maintain the daily, weekly, and monthly programming schedules for FAST channels within the scheduling system.
  • Coordinate with content providers and internal teams to acquire and schedule content that meets audience preferences and business objectives.
  • Work alongside FAST Content director to drive channel growth through strategic use of content based on performance data, including developing stunts, planning monthly highlights and liaising with Marketing on key titles.
  • Ensure that the schedules are published for FAST, meet editorial guidelines and drive performance.
  • Content Management: Strategically evaluate and organise content inventory (shows, episodes etc.) Ensure all scheduled content is compliant with legal, regulatory, and company standards. Oversee the intake, categorisation, and metadata management of all scheduled content.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Work with Compliance and BALA to ensure all content is cleared for FAST broadcast and remove any content that is no longer compliant (including emergency out of hours changes).
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on schedule performance and viewer analytics to senior management. Ensure adherence to all contractual obligations with content partners and advertisers.
  • Performance Monitoring - Analyse viewership data and performance metrics to optimise scheduling strategies. Adjust schedules based on audience feedback, performance data, and emerging trends.
  • Trend Analysis and Strategy - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and technological advancements in the FAST space.
  • Utilise data analytics to track content performance, viewer engagement, and market trends. Monitor and adjust content schedules based on performance metrics.
  • As part of a small team, be the first point of contact for programming for all operational questions relating to the channels
  • Maintain clear, concise and up to date documentation about the channels.
  • Coordinate and prioritise the content volume and composition to be delivered by Content Ops and ensure that content delivery processes are well implemented.
  • Collaborate with the wider programming team to adjust schedules as needed. Work closely with marketing, sales, and content teams to promote scheduled programming and maximise viewer engagement. Liaise with technical and operations teams to resolve any issues related to content delivery and playback. Recommend and implement strategies to enhance the viewer experience and increase channel growth.
  • Help to create the greatest possible workplace experience for employees.
  • Drive the 'One Paramount' approach, role modelling, great teamwork and collaboration.
  • Be an ambassador for all Paramount channels and platforms, internally and externally.

    Proven experience in a similar role within the media or entertainment industry.
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in scheduling systems and software.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
