Full Job Description
We are looking for creative and compassionate people to join one of our vibrant residential services in Exmouth. Everything our Support Workers do is aimed at enabling the people we support to do the things they love., The role of a Support Worker is a wide and varying one that includes:
- Supporting with jobs around the house
- Creating and planning different activity sessions
- Supporting the people we support in the community
- Understanding what support the different people we support require
- Personal care
- Encouraging independence amongst the people we support where possible What makes a good Support Worker? The most important thing we look for is the right values. It's crucial that you are compassionate, friendly and treat the people we support with the integrity and respect they deserve. As some of the people we support require a high level of care we need people with patience and empathy. If you come to us with the right values and motivations we can give you all the training and support you need!
- £11.75 per hour
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Additional annual leave after 3 and 5 years' service

Experience of using a digital or mobile app would be desirable however full training will be given Please note this role will involve elements of evening, weekend and bank holiday work as well so flexibility is essential. You will not be required to work sleep in's for this role. The successful applicant will be subject to a full DBS check to cost to be met by United Response.
