As a Sales Consultant within Initial Medical you will understand how important compliance with legislation is for our customers. Helping customers to meet their compliance requirements is a significant help in meeting your targets and selling the right services …. In many cases the law says they need what you will be selling! As a new salesperson within Initial Medical our initial training and Sales Academy will train you on what information you need to be finding out on site visits and what service you should subsequently be offering to the customer / prospect., As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Identifying, sourcing and selling long and short term B2B contracts.
  • Generating and developing leads (through networking with other Rentokil Initial divisions etc.)
  • Building relationships both internally and externally
  • Working towards and achieving set KPIs and targets
  • Using your own initiative and planning your field days effectively
  • Maintaining an existing client/customer portfolio and presenting new products
  • Working with key accounts to maximise sales

  • That takes pride in delivering a first class service and best advice to queries or sales opportunities from existing and new customers
  • Who enjoys working as part of a Branch team but is happy to work autonomously
  • Who thrives on hitting and exceeding targets
  • Who wants to be the best & make the most of an uncapped commission scheme, An ambitious, outgoing, dedicated personality, able to use your initiative whilst in the field
  • Proactive, get up and go mindset
  • Background in business development or customer service (Preferred but not essential)
  • An ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • An ability to manage your time effectively and efficiently

As an Initial Medical Sales Executive you will visit clients and new prospects; identifying needs and tailoring specific waste collection and disposal services. You will be fully equipped as we will put you through an initial training course including field time with Technicians and qualified Field Sales Trainers. Once out on the road you will also benefit from ongoing support and mentoring. Not only will you receive the initial training course, but all Rentokil Initial employees complete a NVQ Level 2 Customer Service course in their first year!
