Filling Station Team Member - Fixed term until the 5th January 2025

Penrith, Cumbria, CA11 0DQ Contract Part time Working alongside your team of colleagues you will engage with our customers and showcase our unique offer from the exceptional local producers we work with. Using your warm and friendly personality you will use your passion for delivering exceptional customer service to ensure our customers are given a memorable experience every time they stop with us. Your responsibilities will include; 1. Welcoming and engaging with customers, sharing advice on products, suppliers and allergens. You will need to keep up to date with your product knowledge to deliver brilliant customer service 2. Be a whizz on the till - efficient and accurate, whilst ensuring your customers are made to feel welcome 3. Work alongside your colleagues and roll up your sleeves to ensure shelves are stocked, fixtures are cleaned and our displays are looking their best 4. Display stock to our creative merchandising standards maintaining presentation and cleanliness standards throughout the day's trade 5. Cooking off some of our homemade food for customers to take away - pies, sausage rolls etc. 6. Serving cold items from the deli and patisserie counter to customers ensuring correct packaging and codes for the till. 7. Complete the daily paperwork, ensure it is accurate and compliant with legal requirements; HACCP, product date management, allergens, be sure to escalate any concerns. 8. Safety is a priority when working in our filling station and you will manage the safe delivery and dispensing of petroleum products in line with our health and safety standards. No experience necessary but a positive 'can do' mindset and a passion to deliver a great customer experience is essential
