Full Job Description

Are you an Analyst looking for a new opportunity? This role takes an office first hybrid approach here at London Gatwick, with three days a week in the office, two days remote, managed around the needs of the business. What is the role? This role is key to support the Capital and Reporting Team with the Gatwick Group's statutory reporting requirements, including monthly reporting and assisting with the Group's audit process. Take responsibility for areas of capital reporting to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project costs and manage the time carding system. What will you do?

  • Support the Capital and Reporting Team (consisting of the Capital and Reporting Manager and Accountant) with the statutory reporting process for Gatwick Airport and its group companies, including the annual and half year reporting process, month end journals, and statutory audit.
  • Assist the Capital Investment Business Partner
  • Monthly capital reporting - responsible for monthly construction P&L accounting and reporting, ensuring budget variances are reviewed.
  • Manage allocation of costs to projects.
  • Assist with other capital reporting tasks such as project close out and adding assets to the fixed asset register and management of project budgets in SAP.
  • Management of time carding system and performing analysis for the relevant teams across Gatwick
  • Assist with SAP system management

    AAT or equivalent. Opportunity to study towards ACCA qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience within a finance function essential (financial reporting beneficial)
  • Competent to a high standard using Excel
  • Experience of projects environment and experience of major ERP systems and reporting tools, eg Oracle Systems, SAP
  • Experience of working successfully with external auditors
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels inside and outside of finance function
