Full Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our Finance Transformation team. The Financial Analyst will play a critical role as the data migration lead for finance transformation projects by managing and executing data migration strategies for the SAP and Netsuite implementation, ensuring data quality, consistency, and successful transition from legacy systems. They will collaborate with technical and finance teams to define migration requirements, develop ETL processes, and perform data validation and reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, highly experienced in data transformation, and knowledgeable of ERP systems. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and works effectively both independently and collaboratively. This role will have the opportunity to expand into the many diverse roles within finance transformation. Your Responsibilities: Data Migration Strategy & Planning

  • Define the data migration roadmap, including scope, approach, and timelines
  • Identify data sources, dependencies, and risks associated with migration
  • Develop data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) strategies
  • Data Extraction, Transformation & Loading (ETL)
  • Oversee data extraction from legacy systems
  • Design and implement data transformation processes/automation to align with the new system's structure for efficiency and scalability for future projects
  • Lead the data mapping and cleansing process to improve accuracy
  • Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure successful data load ensuring optimization of data integrity
  • Data Validation & Testing
  • Develop and execute data validation and reconciliation plans
  • Work with business users to verify data integrity and completeness
  • Conduct data migration test runs before the final cutover
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies or errors
  • Go Live & Post Migration Support
  • Execute the final data migration cutover plan
  • Provide support during and after go-live to resolve any data-related issues
  • Document data migration processes and lessons learned for future reference
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with finance transformation, ERP consultants, and business finance users
  • Coordinate with business owners to validate data requirements
  • Communicate migration status, risks, and issues to project stakeholders

    Involvement in finance transformation or system implementation projects
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger management
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACA or ACCA) is a plus
  • Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to perform analysis, transformation and reconciliation of large data sets
  • Proficient in Excel macros
  • Able to create working templates for data migration and period end reporting
  • Strong financial background to understand double entries and impact to financial statements
  • Experience with SAP, or other ERP
  • Knowledge of SQL or data manipulation tools is a plus
