Full Job Description

Due to a period of growth, BCA are looking for a Finance Applications Data Analyst to work closely with the BCA EU Finance team on the rollout of Microsoft Business Central ERP across our EU businesses. You will be responsible for managing, cleansing, and aligning master data from disparate systems as well as implementing data governance for the ongoing maintenance of master data., Work with legacy systems to extract source data in preparation for migration.
Execute extraction, transformation and load of legacy data into the new ERP system.
Identify and communicate efficient ways to collect, cleanse and maintain data.
Develop data migration guidance and setup pre-configured templates to collect data.
Prepare and/or update operating procedures and other documentation needed to support data migration activities.
Cleanse and align master data including setup data across the EU entities.
Validate data during migration and perform reconciliation activities.
Manage master data (e.g. vendors, customers) within Business Central
Create, update, and maintain data records, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Monitor data entry processes and provide guidance to end-users.
Ensure master data and master data processes are aligned across Europe entities.
Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
Regularly audit master data to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, and inaccuracies.
Generate reports related to master data quality, usage, and trends.
Analyse data patterns to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Propose enhancements to data management processes and tools.
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in master data management.
Work with finance teams across the EU markets as well as group finance.
Work closely with IT, business analysts, and functional teams to understand data requirements.
Support end-users in data-related inquiries and troubleshooting.

Proven Experience - in master data management, preferably within an ERP environment.
Attention to Detail - strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Governance & Organisation - ability to support the creation and content of policies, MDM roles and knowledge of different MDM-organizational forms.
Experience with Finance Systems. Microsoft ERP / Business Central advantageous.

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum + car allowance + benefits

40 hours per week Monday - Friday
